This event takes place on Rabbit Ears Pass just off Hwy 40 fifteen miles southeast of Steamboat Springs.

The start and finish area is located at the Walton Peak parking area that serves Steamboat Snow Mobile Tours (31750 East Hwy. 40 Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80487 (970) 879-6500. This is on the south side of Hwy 40 (to your left if you are come from the Denver or Laramie direction, and to your right if you are coming from Steamboat).

Driving directions to Start/Finish area from the intersection of US 40 and Pine Grove Rd (Safeway, Ski Haus, Walgreens)

1. US-40 E/S Lincoln Ave. Travel east 12.8 mi

2. Look for sharp turn to right. There will be a sign posted and traffic direction on race days.

Driving from Big Shooters Coffee in Kremmling, Colorado you travel on HWY 40 for 37.5 miles to the Walton Peak Steamboat Snowmobile Tours parking, making a left hand turn off of Hwy 40.

· Due to limited parking at the Start/Finish area at Walton Peak (30-40 vehicles max) we strongly encourage carpooling or shuttle. There will also be a parking at the Hogan Park parking area with a shuttle to the Start/Finish. The Hogan Park parking is located 1.2 miles west of the Start area right on HWY 40.

· The shuttle time from the remote parking will take about 2 minutes with the last race day shuttle leaving from the parking area at 8:30 AM for a 9 AM start time.

· Bikers can easily ride the 1.2 miles to the start area along the shoulder on HWY 40. This is a gentle downhill with a wide shoulder.
