SKI, SNOWBIKE, SKIKE (ski & snowbike) or SNUNI (snow unicycle) The 2012 Steamboat Coureur will be
an opportunity to participate in an inaugural event and enjoy some great spring
cross country skiing, sniking (snowbiking), skiking (ski and snowbiking) or
snuniing (snow unicycling) on Rabbit Ears Pass near Steamboat Springs. On Saturday April 7th you
can ski 15k, 25k or 50k on perfectly groomed trails (classic and skate) and
on Sunday April 8th take the day off or participate in the first
ever Snowbike and Snow-unicycle event in Routt County. You can be a purist and do one or the
other, or to really make a spring transition in style, do the Skike 50/50 (ski
50k and bike 50k). There will be some great prizes and
give a ways from our sponsors. This event is a fund raiser for Emerald Mountain Park Outdoor Recreation
Area and future Nordic center planning as well as for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club
Nordic Scholarship Program. When
you register please consider donating a few addition dollars to support these
important and worthy non-profits. Both
the Emerald Mountain Partnership and the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club
are 501 c 3 organizations. Come and join us for the weekend and enjoy all
